Bored

It’s Saturday and I’m bored as hell. No plans later and my legs are itching to go places. John’s working late and my friends are going home to their respective home towns.

Read Jessica Zafra’s blog and she sounds like she’s having fun in New York. I confess reading her blog is making me miss the States. I never get bored there. The minute I go out of our house, for example I see a pool and a bunch of squirrels, both of which I’ll never find at home. When we went to Universal Studios, traffic was horrible because of the Emmy’s and that was when I felt that I was in the center of the world. I don’t want to live there for good, but I admit I really miss that feeling of exhiliration from being in a different country.

Of course, spending time with my family later is always good. It’s just that there’s nothing to do at home. No internet connection and no DVD player (broken) so what’s a girl to do? It’s during times like this that I get crazy ideas (I’m thinking about going to Law school and putting up a restaurant). Maybe it’s better if I just sleep later. Get this restlessness out my system. I could have been a gypsy in my past life, reading people’s palms for a buck. Maybe I should just buy vodka on my way home and drown my sorrows. Or kick ass at Sacred and Warcraft. Chew ice and gorge myself on junk food. Anything!!! Read I guess. Let me get that Classic Book of Horror. . .
